The District owns and operates the region's premier Emergency Communications Center (ECC), and is staffed with a team of administrative & technical professionals who sustain the physical and technological infrastructure for the parish's emergency number and response systems.

Within our ECC, we are proud to host the communications divisions from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, the Shreveport Police Department and the Shreveport Fire Department. These communications officers, who answer 9-1-1 requests for service and dispatch emergency personnel and equipment, are employed by their respective public safety agencies.
